Construction and Design Expo begins Wednesday | WCHS Network | News • Sports • Business

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia Construction and Design Expo is set for Wednesday and Thursday at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.

Contractors Association of West Virginia Chief Executive Officer Jason Pizzatella said the expo was one of the highlights of the year for the industry.

“It’s the two days of the year where almost everyone that is associated with the construction industry will pop their head into the Civic Center for at least a little while,” Pizatella said.

The various parts of the industry represented will include contractors, engineers, architects, equipment manufacturers, equipment dealers, people building water and sewer infrastructure in West Virginia and those installing broadband.

Activities will include the display of the latest equipment in the industry, continuing education courses, job hiring opportunities and special speakers.

Pizzatella said the expo will include, for the second year in a row, a reverse job fair.

“It’s for students and young people who are considering getting into the industry to be able to walk into the Civic Center Wednesday and Thursday and see almost everyone involved in the industry and if they’re interested, someone may leave with a job,” Pizatella said.

The anime will debut its first seven episodes simultaneously on Disney+ Star’s “STAR Anime Series” programming on March 20, and will stream on Upstream in the US The first six episodes are labeled the “Akuma no Ōji” (Prince of Demons) arc, and will feature footage from the anime film recut to a series format, with some additional footage. The Twitter account for DeNA‘s Manga Box app announced on Friday that Kei Sasuga will launch a new series titled Tokyo RIP on the platform on March 23.

The story follows Sou Kanbara and his siblings, who make a living as exorcists despite their lack of spiritual power. This all changes when Sou’s powers are awakened by an encounter with the spirit of a girl at a love hotel.

Sasuga launched the Issho ni Kurashite Idesuka? manga in Shueisha‘s Grand Jump Mucha magazine in February 2023. Shueisha published the manga’s second compiled book volume on February 19.

Sasuga wrote the “Koinaka Gaihi Desu!!” (It’s a Secret Love Affair!!) one-shot manga in Grand Jump magazine in October 2022. It was Sasuga’s first work in a Shueisha publications.

Hackers Use Cracked Software on GitHub to Spread RisePro Info Stealer

Cybersecurity researchers have found a number of GitHub repositories offering cracked software that are used to deliver an information stealer called RisePro.

The campaign, codenamed gitgub, includes 17 repositories associated with 11 different accounts, according to G DATA. The repositories in question have since been taken down by the Microsoft-owned subsidiary.

“The repositories look similar, featuring a README.md file with the promise of free cracked software,” the German cybersecurity company said.

“Green and red circles are commonly used on Github to display the status of automatic builds. Gitgub threat actors added four green Unicode circles to their README.md that pretend to display a status alongside a current date and provide a sense of legitimacy and recency. “
